Beverly Hills means casual elegance. You can wear what you’re comfortable. During the day, sportswear is acceptable. You might want to dress up a bit more for evening wear when going to some hotels. Men should wear jackets and ties for some restaurants that require them. Women should wear dresses or pantsuits for these restaurants.

For cool summer evenings, Deluxe Rent A Car los angeles recommends you take along a sweater or a light jacket. Pack warmer clothing for November to April.

Prehistoric Beverly Hills

Tongva or Gabrielionos (Native Americans) named this sacred site “El Rodeo de las Aguas” in Spanish, which means “Gathering of the Waters”.

Europeans

Unfortunately in 1844, the imported smallpox epidemic destroyed two-thirds of the local native population. Mistreatment from the European settlers wiped out the rest of the native population.
