Facts

Before taking off to Legoland in your Los Angeles car rental, read about some great facts that you could tell your kids on your way there! Legoland California is currently 1 of 3 Legoland parks in the world. The other two are situated in Denmark and the UK (Windsor). Legoland California is 128 acres filled with fun activities geared towards kids 2-12! There are over 50 family rides, hands on attractions and shows and it is the only park of its kind in the US!

Dino Island

There are many places to visit once you're in Legoland! Park your Los Angeles car rental and come visit Dino Island! Here you can ride the Coastersaurus! This rollercoaster climbs, curves and dips in and around a prehistoric jungle of animated and life-size Lego brick dinosaurs! Your kids will aslo enjoy the interactive area where they can dig for "skeletal remains" of dinosaurs in over 30 cubic yards of sand!

Miniland USA

For a true educational experience, see the Lego reproductions of 7 areas of the US! Constructed with 20 million Lego bricks in at 1:20 scale you will marvel at the replicates of places such as Washington D.C., New Orleans, New York City, Florida, San Francisco, Southern California and more! You can also visit the Block of Fame where you will find 3-dimentional art galleries lined with historical figures and pop icons made entirely of Lego!

Explore Village

When you visit this village, get on the Safari Treak! Here you will have a chance to see life sized giraffes, zebras, lions and more! And they are all made of Lego! If you have younger kids, take them to Playtown where they will have a fun time sliding down the slides and participating in a number of activities. While they're there they can also get on the Legoland Express where they can explore the village! At Explore Village, you should also take a ride in the leaf-shaped boats of Fairy Talebrook! Here you will sail gently through different fairytale scenes created from Lego brick characters reenacting scenes such as those from the Three Little Pigs and the Thee Billy Goats Gruff! To cool off, take your kids to the nearby Waterworks where they can hop up and down to make the musical fountain play!

Fun Town

Why have all the fun driving your Los Angeles car rental! Take your kids to the Volvo Driving School or the Volvo Jr. Driving School where they can learn about signaling, turning, stopping and going in their own Lego car! You and your family can also participate in the Fun Town Fire Academy where you can race Lego fire trucks across the straightaway, then pump water to put out the "burning building"! One of Lego land's most popular ride is the Sky Cruiser! You can see this ride as soon as you get into the park! You will get a chance to go on a track atop of Fun Town for a unique and colorful ride!

Knights Kingdom

Go back in time to the medieval age where Knights and dragons existed! Take a ride on the Dragon Coaster as it goes inside the enchanted Legoland Castle! You will be able to view life behind the scenes as this dragon twists and turns. Young guest can ride on their very own Lego horse at the Royal Joust! Where the horse will go thorugh the enchanted forest complete with jousting Lego Knights! If you are hungry, stop by the Knight's Table Barbeque where you can enjoy a great meal of spare ribs or BBQ Chicken in a medieval theme restaurant!
