For the perfect vacation spot away from all the long lines and noisy crowds visitors will enjoy Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade. Third Street Promenade can be easily reached from the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which is approximately 12 miles, or 20 minutes away in your Los Angeles rental car. Located in the center of downtown, Third Street Promenade is three blocks of outdoor, pedestrian-only shopping and entertainment. It is a destination at which you can easily spend the whole day.
